EA Scraps Marvel Fighting Game
By: Avinash Bali   |   Jan 29, 2008
After the crapfest that was Marvel Nemesis: The Rise of the Imperfects, EA decided to hand over the reins of development of a next-gen sequel to their Chicago studio. As seen in this video, courtesy of Gametrailers, the game was shaping out to be a lot better than the first. But as fate would have it, EA’s Chicago studio was suddenly shut down, sealing the fate of this project as well.

Speaking of EA's Chicago studio shutting down, Gametap reports that the studio head, Kudo Tsunoda, has moved on to Microsoft’s Xbox division and is rumored to be working on an upcoming Gears of War game.

Expect total lancer control...
