The movie hasn't been attached to any director or actors as of now, but gamers did breathe a sigh of relief when they knew Uwe Boll wouldn't be attached to this project. Peter Jackson (Lord of the Ring trilogy, King Kong and the most excellent cult classic Bad Taste) will be producing the movie that's rumored to be shot in his homeland - New Zealand.
If this news has really bummed you out, you could head over to The Bungie Store to fulfill those Master Chief fetishes with an official Halo 3 t-shirt. The t-shirt comes in four sizes: Medium, Large, XL and XXL with the Halo 3 logo in the front and "Finish the fight" written across the back.

I can't seem to understand what people's fascination with Halo is. Halo 1, for the most part, had seriously repititive maps, slightly engaging gameplay, but was good on the graphics front. Did'nt get to play Halo 2, since I don't actually own an X-Box, I went for the PS2 instead.. but what I've seen and heard, it pretty much sucked. So, Halo 3.. great graphics and 15 aggressive levels of running through the same 3 maps? Thank you, I'll wait for something else for my PS3...
