SEGA bags Iron Man deal
By: Avinash Bali   |   Nov 07, 2006

Game developer SEGA has struck a deal with Marvel to produce games based on their Iron Man character for next-gen platforms, and the first game will probably be out just in time to coincide with the Iron Man movie sometime in 2008.

Here's what SEGA of America president and COO, Simon Jeffery had to say on the deal, "The Iron Man history is filled with compelling and intriguing characters and stories, and with the power of the next-gen systems, SEGA will be bringing these characters to life like never before."

There was a time when Activision had been involved with the Iron Man name and even managed to produce a game for the GBA, but after a while, they just gave up on the rights. Let's hope these guys don't fudge things up.
