SEGA (America) has entered a worldwide exclusive (and not to forget multi-million dollar) agreement with Twentieth Century Fox that'll allow them to bring those pesky, gooey, stomach tearing, face hugging aliens to next gen consoles. This time round, gamers will not be treated to shooters only, there's also a role playing game in the pipelines, but unfortunately you'll have to wait till 2009 for any of that.
Simon Jeffery, President and Chief Operating Officer, SEGA, seems to be a pretty big fan of the whole franchise and here’s what he had to say, "As a direct result of Fox's efforts over the past 27 years, Alien has become one of the most recognized franchises in the motion picture industry. SEGA will utilize the power of next-gen systems to blend the time-honored story with leading edge design technology to deliver a riveting and suspenseful gameplay experience."
