With the E3 (Electronic Entertainment Expo) becoming an invitation-only private event, its place of 'Big *ss annual gaming trade show' was left vacant.
Popular gaming magazine GamePro plans on filling its spot with its own GamePro Expo which will be held in Los Angeles according to some leaked internal document. The convention will be E3 styled including a trade show with both the casual and competitive side of gaming kept in mind, along with a gaming competition. They expect around 30,000 attendees and hope to increase this number gradually to reach E3 2006's 60,000 member mark.
Let's hope that they do a good job in filling up E3's shoes and continue to keep the gamering community satified.
