Acer has introduced the Aspire One, a new Mobile Internet Device or MID. The company is offering a full software application suite and a battery of up to six hours.
The new product also comes with 802.11b/g Wi-Fi built-in. In its hardware specifications the Acer Aspire One has an 8.9-inch CrystalBrite LED backlit display with a resolution of 1024x600 pixels, an integrated webcam, is powered by an Intel Atom processor, Linux or Windows XP Home and will sport either 512MB or 1GB of RAM. Storage options include an 8 GB SSD or a 80 GB HDD.

This time we came up with something really special – the Aspire one – an Internet device that delivers true mobile and a seamless wireless experience for all online users."
