MSI has released a new 16-inch notebook, the VR630.
This new laptop features a 1366x768 16-inch screen with a movie-friendly 16:9 aspect ratio. The notebook can be equipped with an AMD Turion X2 Ultra dual-core processor or Sempron CPU and up to 4 GB of system RAM. The notebook includes MSI's ECO Engine power management function that lets them choose from Gaming, Movie, Presentation, Office and Turbo Battery modes to balance performance with battery life.
The exterior design of the laptop has been inspired by ocean wave patterns, includes an integrated GeForce 8200M G graphics processor, offers 160GB, 250GB or 320GB capacities and comes pre-loaded with Windows Vista. Expansion options include three USB ports, and there is a 3-in-1 card reader, Ethernet port and an Express Card slot, along with a 1.3-megapixel camera. Wi-Fi support comes via a built-in 802.11 b/g/n wireless module. The notebook weighs 5.6lbs with its six-cell battery.
The VR630 is now available in Europe, with prices starting at 430 Euros (about Rs. 28,500).
