Jet Airways and Hutch have announced M-ticketing with JetWallet, a service that will be available to Hutch customers with GPRS enabled phones, who are also Jet Privilege (JP) members. With this facility, Jet Privilege members will be able to book, pay and generate e-tickets on their phones.
To avail this service, JP members have to download the secure JetWallet application on to their GPRS enabled Hutch phones. Once JetWallet is installed, they can use the same for booking tickets using their unique activation code generated while downloading, pay using credit cards and generate an e-tickets on domestic sectors in Indian currency.
E-tickets generated will be automatically emailed to the members preferred email address which can be printed and used to gain entry inside the airport as well as for check-in using valid photo identification. On completion of the booking, e-ticket details will be stored automatically on the phone in the JetWallet application for future access. The member will also receive the booking details on his Hutch phone via SMS.
This solution allows customers to view past tickets, change, cancel and refund the e-tickets booked through JetWallet, subject to certain terms and conditions.
