Nokia Sued in the UK
By: Priyanka Pradhan   |   May 25, 2006
US based telecom chipset giant, Qualcomm, has sued Nokia in a UK High Court, accusing them of infringing on two of its patents in its mobile devices. Qualcomm is seeking damages and wants to stop the sale of Nokia handsets in the UK.

The lawsuit has been extended from November last year when Qualcomm had filed a case in the United States. Now, the company seeks injunction and damages over Nokia phones that have employed the patented technology, including those already sold.
