This just in, for all Blackberry customers from Mumbai city using handsets issued via Vodafone; the company has issued a notice that their data services will be down. They haven’t really specified a time frame for this downtime.
According to our information, the issues seem to be a technical problem at the Vodafone end.
So in case you’re a BlackBerry user from Mumbai it may take a little while before the service is restored to normal. Since there's no time frame specified by Vodafone, we can only hope it gets back on track soon.
Update - All the Vodafone Blackberry users are requested to restart their Blackberry handset and check if they're getting EDGE in caps. If the problem persists get in touch with your Systems department or Vodafone.
