Sony Unveils NW-E Series of Walkman Players

Sony has unveiled a line of flash-based, digital music players - the NW-E Series of Walkman players - that come in six different colors - pink, lime green, blue, violet, silver and black.

Equipped with a long battery life, the latest Sony Walkman player allows you to enjoy up to 28 hours of listening at full battery capacity. The quick-charge feature, according to the company can provide up to three hours of playback for only three minutes of charging.

The players can store up to 1,350 songs on the 2 GB model, 685 songs on the 1 GB model and 340 songs on the 512 MB model at 48kbps and has a built-in FM tuner. The devices support AAC (non-DRM), MP3, WMA (non-DRM), and ATRAC music files. They are also compatible with the Sony Connect online music service and include SonicStage software to import, manage and transfer music collections.

Equipped with a built-in 2.0 compatible USB connector, one can link link directly to a PC for faster charging and information transfers. In addition to storing music, the players can also be used as a mass storage device for saving data.

The new Walkman player's distinctive one-line OEL (organic electroluminescence) display accommodates both left-handed and right-handed users alike. The devices come with black or white earbud headphones.

The Walkman music players come in three different capacities - the NW-E002F player has a total capacity of 512MB, comes in blue and will cost around $70; the NW-E003F player has a total capacity of 1 GB, comes in silver and pink and will cost around $100 while the NW-E005F player has a total capacity of 2 GB and comes in black, violet and lime green (exclusively at Sony Style stores) and will cost around $130.

The players will be available in August at www.sonystyle.com.

i got a nw-e0035 , but not got a software cd with it , and whenever i copy any song in it , it shows no data accesseable

are these mp3s compatible with macs as i just bought a mac and cant believe my mp3 mite not work with it???

the best thing i've seen in this is the size & the player is really thin.once again sony has proved that its the best. after all its a sony.
