CES is upon us and the hardware deluge has started. First off the block is Samsung, who has announced the world's first consumer oriented 27" display. This announcement comes just a week after Dell had 'accidentally' leaked its plans on its website indicating that it intended to ship a 27" display in the near future.
Overall there is not much to separate the two monitors as they both utilize Samsung's own 8-bit widescreen S-PVA LTM270M1 panel.
The expected price of this monitor is $999 and will ship in Feb 2007.
