CES: Samsung Slims Down its DLP TVs
By: Gagan Gupta   |   Jan 08, 2007

Samsung put its DLP rear projection technology on a serious no-nonsense diet to make it this slim!

Of course it's still a little fatter than its flat panel cousins, but the new LED backlight technology ensures that it's a lot brighter than what DLPs have traditionally been able to achieve. Its start-up time too has reduced to a very-acceptable 10 seconds.

These babies will be available in three different sizes that support 1080p including 61, 56, and 50 inches.
