Half-Life 2: The Orange Box

Team Fortress 2
The most impressive game in the Orange Box is Team Fortress 2. I’m a sucker for class based multiplayer online shooters, so I was completely blown when I first heard of this game. For those of you who haven’t heard of Team Fortress (please stab yourself), here’s a little about it – the game started off as a modification for Quake that became so successful that Valve decided to purchased rights to the franchise and released Team Fortress Classic for Half-Life. The thing that drove the game was the inclusion of classes that played insanely different from one another.
The game will make a return with the Orange Box, using the extremely flexible Source Engine to deliver some gorgeous cel-shaded cartoony visuals that will breathe new freshness into the franchise. Like its predecessors, Team Fortress 2 will deliver some over-the-top class-based action that’s sure to keep you hooked. To keep up with the times, the game is rumored to have an unlock system too, but only time can say how far that’ll be true. Another feature that the game is supposed to have is the availability of critical shots, that become more frequent if you climb the scoreboard fast. If you’re an online shooter addict like I am, this is one game that should be enough to warrant the purchase of the Orange Box alone.
