Hellboy

The game will span across six unique locales and will boast of destroyable environments which isn’t something to be excited about in this day and age but it’s a cool touch nevertheless. Debris from the broken environments as well as a host of other objects like gates, poles and more can be picked up and used to smash your way through the game. Fans of boss fights should be thrilled as this game will have tons of them, all of which should prove to be interesting since this game will use tons of contextual action just like God of War or Resident Evil 4.
As far as visuals go, the game does look pretty good and Krome has taken special care to make Hellboy look as next gen as possible; pity I can’t say that about the other enemies who looked pretty meh as of now. There’s a ton of talent associated with this game as not only will Mike Magnolia, (creator) and Guillermo del Toro (director of the Hellboy movie) will be helping the studio out as far as the game’s plot is concerned but Ron Pearlman is all set to voice Hellboy in the game as well so you can sit back and relax as Ron rarely disappoints.
The game will offer players the chance to team up with their friend (who’ll play as either Abe Sapien or Liz Sherman) to finish the entire game in co-op. While all this sounds cool [and the addition of co-op just earned the game some major brownie points in the books], I can’t help but be a bit skeptical after watching some of the videos circulating the net, which surprisingly looked dreadfully boring. Let’s hope all this gets rectified by the time the game hits stores this year.
