Kane and Lynch: Dead Men

The entire game will play out like your standard third person shooter fare and the cool part here is that even though you’ll play as Kane throughout the game, Lynch will be by your side at all times killing everyone in sight, abusing the crap out of you and taunting you at the same time (yeah, these guys don’t get along too well). Not that it’s a disadvantage to have a loose canon by your side, but you’ll have to constantly keep him in check to make sure he doesn’t start pumping innocents full of lead. Besides Lynch you’ll also have certain members of the Seven helping you out during certain missions and you’ll be able to delegate orders to them courtesy of an extremely simply interface and as and when you run out of ammo, you can even order them to pass on their weapons to you (just like Halo).
Even though the game is pretty far off from its release date, it’s certainly looking pretty nice as it uses a heavily modified version of the Glacier engine (the very same one that fueled Hitman: Blood Money). The thing that attracts me the most to this game is its premise since one anti-hero is cool, but two?
The game is all set for a late 2007 release on next gen consoles and the PC.
