Player versus Player (PvP) Enhancements:
There are some interesting PvP oriented changes that will come with the Burning Crusade. In addition to the already present Battlegrounds, players will be able to battle the opposite faction in 'The Arena' as well. The Arena is nothing but hardcore old-fashioned PvP that allows players to go toe-to-toe in some 2v2 to 10v10 action. It will probably be fast paced and fun as hell and it'll give you quite a few honor points. That reminds me, there is an awesome change being made to the honor system. You will have to earn honor tokens in order to get your PvP reward gear. Once you’ve accumulated a fixed amount of honor tokens, you can spend it to buy some kick-ass PvP gear. This change will definitely change the normal Grind-your-ass-off PvP system currently implemented in WoW, where you have to PvP for many hours daily for months in order to gather decent PvP gear. This will appeal to most casual PvPers too since they will be able to accumulate honor token without the worry of them decaying over time like honor points do currently.

Player versus Environment Improvements:
The level 70 cap will change the current raiding scene quite a bit. Players who have cleared Raiding dungeons such as Molten Core and Blackwing Lair as a part of their daily routine (till their brains bled) will be quite disappointed as even the level 65+ green random monster drops will be far better than the stuff they currently have. This will work quite well for the casual gamers though as they will be able to attain quite decent equipment easily and can go toe-to-toe with some of the currently geared out badass raid grinders out there. Although, this will change eventually when most of the players reach level 70 and start grinding the high-leveled raids; so the ardent raiders need not fret too much, this is just a minor setback. For those of you that plan on starting the game or re-rolling to a new class, now is an awesome time, as the gear balance won’t last too long, so make the best of it.
In my opinion, the Burning Crusade adds a few additions to the gameplay along with additional content/features and basically polishes the standard World of Warcraft experience. In the end it will be the same Experience/Equipment grind that WoW is renowned for; which isn’t too bad in my books. Although you won’t get a huge amount of content initially, you can expect a lot of content patches pumped in by Blizzard that will continue to keep you entertained for atleast a year
