Devil May Cry 4

Looks and plays like a dream
Rock-solid frame rates
In-game cinematics good enough to rival a Final Fantasy flick
n00b friendly
Gets highly repetitive towards the end
Playing as Dante is a bit of a letdown
Certain puzzles and boss fights can drive you up the wall
Anyone who’s owned a PS2 in his/her life would have played or at least heard of the Devil May Cry series. You know, the one where you play as the half-human son of a demon who has a heart of gold and enough funky moves up his sleeve to give both Rajnikant and Mithun a serious complex.

Anyway, besides over-the-top cinematics, the game’s also well-known for its steep difficulty level, endless barrage of boss fights, and painful amounts of backtracking. Now, none of the above can upset or faze fans of the series, but newcomers may want to pay attention to them before diving into the game. But developer Capcom has tweaked the difficulty level for this game considerably, so even newcomers can jump right in and enjoy it. I’m not saying that this game’s a complete cakewalk, but unless you’re picking up the controller for the first time, there’s nothing you can’t handle.

As far as gameplay is concerned, most of you already know that series veteran Dante has been replaced by Nero, who essentially has the same basic attacks: shooting and slashing. How you chain these attacks to achieve mindblowing combos is up to you and your skill level. The more insane combos you pull off in a level, the more orbs and souls you earn, allowing you to purchase newer items and upgrades for your existing weapons.

so w8 for a month dont be in such an hurry i cant confirm about the lcd though but w8 for graphics cards ati is realising new cards so w8 for it.

and 256 and 512 dont make much of a difference 256 is enough for any type of new gen games.

Hey guys i am a bit confused. I was going to buy an 8600gt 256mb ddr3 gigabyte gpu but i have a 939 pin motherboard and it supports ddr1 ram so i guess i can still use the gpu on my computer i suppose? and is 8600gt 256mb ddr3 better than 8600gt 512mb ddr2? Waiting for replies.

And is it the right time to go for 8600 or wait for few more days and go for 8800 and expect a further price cut. And also is it the right time to buy a 22inch lcd monitor @14k? i can easily wait for a month..
