Philips 32 PFL7422- 54,000
Philips TVs are dependable and score well when it comes to quality. Price-wise they are competitive enough so we decided to run a check on this model to see whether it can fit our list of HT products under a lakh. And it did, so here's the lowdown.
The aesthetics are simple, yet the TV looks very suave. The bezel is black, which perches comfortably on a metallic silver stand and frame. The speaker is at the bottom and seems to blend into the frame.
The performance is great, especially the detail offered by Philips' proprietary Pixel Plus technology. The native resolution is WXGA, or 1366 x 768, while the max supported video format is 1080i, making the unit qualify for the famous marketing tag of 'HD-ready'.
The rated contrast is not the best, but the image still looks very nice, thanks to the Dynamic Contrast Enhancement. Besides there are lots of great options to choose from, as listed below.
