BenQ G2400W

BenQ is not one a newcomer to this space; its previous model (the FP241W) was one of the best in its generation with a wide variety of connectors, including HDMI/DVI/D-Sub. It recently introduced the G2400W, which differs from other monitors in this range as it is the only one that offers an HDMI connector.

As expected, the G2400W comes with a native resolution of 1920x1200, 5ms response time (gray to gray), a contrast ratio of 1000:1, and 160/160 horizontal/vertical viewing angles. It offers HDMI with full support for HDCP. It has a single DVI connector on board, and also a D-Sub connector.

The G2400W is available for Rs 24,000 + taxes. Detailed specifications can be found here.

Vijay are you for real? The author has listed the cheaper variant of Dell's entry level 24" model The 2408 WFP retails at 40k upwards! How many people u think will go for that????

The TN panel listed here will suffice for most people. Please don't give useless and shitty advice withotout checking your facts. Just because the 2408 is affordable to you ... it does not mean the rest of the world can get it that cheap.

ooops
DELL 2408WFP is the better dell monitor with 178/170 Viewing angles and a non TN panel.
vijay @ Apr 19, 2008
This is like comparing Potatoes to apples. E248WFP from Dell is cheap because it is a TN panel- with limited Viewing angles 160/160- other are MVA or S-IPS, more expensive but better with richer colors. The Dell Monitor you should have compared above is called Dell E248WFP 24 inch
